Welcome to Alvarado Elementary – Home of the Wildcats!

Alvarado Elementary School is a Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade (TK–5) school, including Special Day Classes (SDC), and is proud to be part of the New Haven Unified School District (NHUSD).

Located in the heart of Union City near the historic Old Alvarado Town Plaza and Old Alvarado Park, our campus is also adjacent to Itliong-Vera Cruz Middle School (IVCMS), creating a strong connection for students as they continue their educational journey.

At Alvarado Elementary, we believe every child can learn, grow, and succeed. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where students are challenged academically, supported socially and emotionally, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
