Hello Wildcats,
This is our last week of school! Our last day is Thursday, May 21. Dismissal is at 12:05.
We hope your family has a fun, safe, and restful summer filled with special memories and time together. As we head into summer break, we encourage students to continue reading, writing, practicing math, and staying curious to help prevent the “summer slide.” Summer Slide learning packets are available in the office, or families may ask their child’s teacher for one before the end of the school year. And for families looking for a summer program, we still have room in our Ethnic Studies Social Justice summer class! Sign up now using this LINK. We have a few spots open to 3rd-5th graders.
For our Wildcats moving on to sixth grade, we wish you all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter. We are so proud of you and know you will continue to do amazing things. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!
For families returning next year, please be on the lookout for a Welcome Back letter mailer in late July. To ensure you receive important information, please make sure your address is updated in the Aeries Parent Portal.
If your child has medication in the office, please stop by to pick it up before the end of the school year. Any medication remaining in the office at the end of the year will be disposed of according to district procedures. Also, don’t forget to check our Lost and Found for any missing jackets, water bottles, or personal items before summer begins! Also, please contact the office if your family is moving and you do not plan to return to Alvarado next year.
Thank you for being part of our Wildcat community. We are proud of all our students have accomplished this year and look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall. Have a wonderful summer, Wildcats!
