Hello Wildcats,
Sending heartfelt wishes to all of our Alvarado moms, grandmothers, aunts, caregivers, and mother figures for a very Happy Mother’s Day! Thank you for the love, support, encouragement, and care you pour into your children each and every day. We are grateful for all you do and hope you feel celebrated this weekend.
It’s hard to believe we are already nearing the end of the school year! These final weeks are always such a special time on campus as we reflect on how much our students have grown academically, socially, and emotionally. From big accomplishments to everyday moments of growth, we are so proud of our Wildcats and all they have achieved this year.
As we head into this season of celebrations and end of year activities, please stay tuned for upcoming school events, many of which families will be invited to attend and enjoy together. We encourage you to connect with your child’s teacher regarding classroom specific events and guidelines. We look forward to celebrating these meaningful moments alongside you.
We would also like to share an important reminder about Field Day. To help ensure a safe and organized event for all students, all adults attending on campus during Field Day must be registered volunteers. If you would like to join in on the fun, we would truly love your support! Our PTC is currently looking for additional volunteers for Field Day on Friday, May 15th, and you may sign up for either a full-day or half-day shift.
Looking for something fun this summer? Kids Bowl Free is a wonderful opportunity for families, and we may still have space available in our Ethnic Studies Social Justice Program for students in grades 3–5.
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership, kindness, and support. Together, we are creating joyful memories and meaningful experiences for our students that they will carry with them long after this school year ends.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Alday
