Wildcat News- Home School Connection, week 32

volunteers needed

Hello Wildcats,

As we head into our final week before spring break, there is a wonderful sense of momentum across our campus. Our students have been working hard, building confidence, and showing growth in so many ways. We are proud of them every day! Click on this week’s Wildcat News- Home School Connection, week 32 for important information!

This week, our fifth-grade students will begin the Science portion of the CAASPP state testing. To help students do their very best, it is important that they arrive at school on time each day. Once testing begins, students will not be allowed to enter the classroom until the testing session is complete, so punctuality truly matters.

We also want to thank the families who joined us for our recent CAASPP workshop. It was a great opportunity to connect and share ways to support students. For those who were unable to attend, click on this LINK: 2025-2026 CAASPP Parent Workshop.

While we know that our students are so much more than a number or a score, these assessments are one way for them to demonstrate their learning. Our goal is to set them up for success and help them feel confident and prepared.

Here are a few simple ways you can support your child during testing:

  • Prioritize rest: Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep each night.
  • Start the day strong: Provide a healthy breakfast and arrive to school on time.
  • Encourage a positive mindset: Remind your child to take their time, try their best, and believe in themselves.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We wish all of our students a successful week and a joyful, restful spring break ahead!

A final reminder: our lost and found near the school gates is currently filled with jackets, lunch boxes, and other items. Please come by and claim any belongings before spring break. All remaining items will be donated.
