Wildcat News- Home School Connection, week 26

BHM

Hello Wildcats,

Thank you to all of our families who joined us for STEM Night! It was wonderful to see students and families learning, exploring, and problem-solving together. Events like these remind us how important our partnership with families truly is. When school and home work together, our students thrive. We encourage you to continue the fun at home!  Play math games, explore science questions, build, create, and most importantly, talk about learning together.

In honor of Black History Month, we are highlighting the important contributions of the Black community and celebrating leaders whose impact continues to shape our world. Beginning this week, we are also proud to spotlight our students of African American descent, Our Wildcat All Stars, nominated by staff, are recognized for their leadership, brilliance, and contributions to our school community. Congratulations to the following students who were nominated: Vera Le, Aiden Kum, Don’teneya Riley, Miyonn Lamell, Elijah Espinoza, Deon Payne-Robinson, and Carmelo Asprilla.

We are especially grateful for our partnership with the District African American Parent Association (D3A), who generously distributed special gifts to honor and celebrate our students. We appreciate their continued support and collaboration.

Thank you for being our partners in learning and celebration!
